please ensure that you have read and agree to the following before finalising your enrolment

enrolling

At Playology, we are little and proud! We specifically design small, exclusive classes. Numbers are intentionally small to allow for true enrichment and enjoyment for children. Included in your enrolment on a programme, workshop or event is your child’s time with us either at the beach or in the creative learning studio, pre-planned expertly designed new experiences and materials to explore and interact and create with each week, and their works and masterpieces that they create. All work will be given to your child on their last day. Also, you will be invited to make reflections on their learning experiences, and these will be added to their folder and given to you as a record of learning moments.

If you would like a Portfolio of Learning Moments kept for you to purchase as a memory book or keepsake, please order this prior to starting your programme. You can add it to your order on the products page on our website. These beautiful collections of images, art work and reflective observations of your child’s learning are only available for children enrolled on a programme.

As you are taking part of any of our Playology programmes, you have full permission to photograph and video your child’s experiences here at Playology. If you choose to share on social media, in order to protect our brand, we kindly request that you reference Playology. Throughout your time with us, Playology will share some images online and will seek signed permission beforehand.

cancelling

weather

If schools are closed, Seaham Harbour Marina is closed or it is deemed dangerous and of too high a risk due to severe weather, we will have a duty to cancel classes and we will rearrange the class for the same week. As this unlikely eventuality is complete out of our control, we will work to provide some options for makeup classes. If you can not make any of the rearranged classes, you can gift it to someone else to attend in your place. Alternatively it will be lost.

missed classes

In the same way that early years providers have an enrolment process, Playology programs and classes are secured by pre-booking. At the point of purchase, you have secured your child’s place and therefore Playology will design and curate experiences, materials and resources with your child in mind. Refunds and rescheduling is not Playology policy. If for any reason, such as sickness, holidays or for any other reason plans change, you have the opportunity to gift your class to another child. If you decide to do this, please email with the changes and I will add the child’s name whom you are gifting your class. The only instance where your child’s session will be rescheduled is if Playology cancels the class.
