playology beach school - not all classrooms have four walls
Playology Beach School - A Six Week Series: a series of six half day visits to Playology Beach School during a school term. Throughout the series, we will use the time together to delve into all aspects of coastal education, as well as use the unique learning environment upon which to set a context for other learning. Our beach school sessions are varied in content to explore the diverse, natural learning environment. Through activities such as shelter building, creating pebble & sand sculptures, beach games, scavenger hunts, rock pooling, creating rivers & campfire cooking, we design sessions which are engaging, exciting and encompass true ‘hands on, feet in’ learning.
